I just discovered these things 2 days ago when I was walking through my campus, and my mind was absolutely blown. Who knew that something so simple could be so addictive. They have actually been out for quite some time, but it recently become a fad where everyone is starting to play around with these everywhere I go. I did some research and fidget spinners were actually created 20 years ago which means that the patent on them just expired. Allowing many manufacturers to make them and distribute them everywhere.

They are advertised to be stress relieving and help keep you focused.

Types of Fidget Spinners

There are a variety of fidget spinners that are made with different parts either ceramic or stainless steel. In the end they cost about $3 and do the same exact thing. Some may cost more, and I am not sure if they are of higher quality, or the seller decided to increase the price. So I wouldn't recommend spending more than $10 dollars on these things.

If you are feeling crafty try to make your own! You can come up with a pretty cool version that will probably be way cooler than the original ones you can get from the store.
